About Envincare
Envincare is sponsored by the Supportive Housing Association (SHA), a non-profit 501 c (3) tax exempt organization. SHA was founded in 1994 to develop neighborhood-based housing, healthcare facilities and services. The SHA Board of Directors is dedicated to creating facilities and services so that every human-being has the opportunity to live in a safe environment within their community of choice.
The Envincare vision is to respond to the growing demand for emergent and temporary in-home care services with dependable and trustworthy personnel that value their community, respect human dignity and the wisdom of age.
For over two years, the SHA Board of Directors sponsored planning sessions and reviewed and tested policies and procedures for Envincare operations. In April, 2011, Envincare received authorization from the Washington State Department of Health to begin operating as an accredited In-home care service provider. Once Envincare business practices, service delivery procedures, and personnel management policies were found in compliance with Department of Health licensure standards, the SHA Board of Directors began initiating the start-up phase of this new service.
With Department of Health licensure as an In-home Care provider, SHA continues to demonstrate a long-term commitment to foster and sustain safe and healthy living environments for older adults and their caregivers.
